View atop the 12m high vertical tube reactor of "Ignite Energy's" Supercritical-Water plant for the extraction of lignite and biomass. SN2 contributed original studies on feasibilty, selection of alternative designs and initial costings that have now materialised into a fully commissioned pilot plant. See the picture enlarged

Current Plant-Design Projects include:
- Production process for biodiesel from high fatty acid waste oil, using a subcritical process and solid-phase catalyst.
- Novel process for recovery of environmentally sensitive liquefied gases.
- High-precision metering system for hazardous liquefied gas used in pharmaceutical manufacture.

Data logging output from SN2's own high-pressure, high-temperature continuous-flow plant, during critical tuning using the Ziegler-Nichols method. Black upper: temperature (deg C) in the molten-metal feed heater. Green: temperature of feed entering reactor. Purple: Reactor exit temperature. Cyan: feed temperature exit heat exchanger. Brown: Heater output (%)
